Harbury Tennis Club

We are a village club, formed in 1980 in rural South Warwickshire. The club has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and offers year round tennis for all ages.

The club has 3 macadam courts, all of which are floodlit. We offer regular social tennis but there are also plenty of opportunities for those who are more competitive. We currently field teams in the Banbury Summer and Winter Leagues, and Banbury Floodlit League (all mixed format.)

Club Sessions:

These take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. They are open to all members – just turn up.

The usual format is a series of short, friendly doubles matches, but this depends on the numbers taking part.

Court Bookings:

All members may play on the courts free of charge at any time provided the courts are not already booked.

To be sure of getting a court, bookings should be made at Country Fayre, Chapel Street, Harbury and are free for club members. The cost for non-members is £4 per court per hour and for non-members playing with members it is £1 per person per hour. (Please don’t phone the shop to book!)

Floodlit court bookings cost £3 per court per hour for members and £7 for non-members. Contact
sucolmercer@btinternet.com if you wish to book a floodlit court.
